2006 Paint Color Trends

“Escape into sensuous luxury, carefree nature, tranquil meditation or global culture,” the folks at Sherwin-Williams say… so temptingly…

The paint company has thoughtfully organized the major colour trends for 2006 into several themed palettes, to make planning a colour scheme less of a gamble and more of a simple pleasure. Each of their named paint collection creates a different mood — just pick the one that suits!

• The colors of Fifth Avenue offers calm opulence and sophisticated luxury for a clean look that helps you unwind at the end of a busy day.

Sumptuous Browns wrap you in softness and warmth.

• The Natural Living palette lets you bring outside comfort inside.

• Slip into Relaxed Retreat for colors that nourish your senses and soothe your soul.

• Finally, Great Escapes (my personal favourite!) is alive with the feel of equatorial places: a Tuscan hillside, the Serengeti Plain or a Moroccan bazaar.
