4-Week Walk: Day 27

Today was, if anything, more busy than yesterday — but I learned my lesson from yesterday, and made sure to get my walk in today before the sun went down!

At first I wasn’t sure I could fit in nin, and set out figuring I’d just walk the minimum for the program for today — but it didn’t work out that way.

Day 27:
5 – 10 minute warm-up
35 – 50 minutes walk at level 6
5 – 10 minute cool-down
stretching

Once I got out into the bright Autumn noontime, the birds fluttering in the colourful trees along the road, a gentle breeze just enough to cool me as I walked up the hill… I took the full hour. Glorious!

And instead of feeling tired afterwards, I felt all energized for the afternoon — something to remember, for any future butt-dragging days!
