Sounds like a great week!!

We also bought some buffalo sausage at the farmer's market, but haven't tried that yet either. I love bison burgers, so I am hoping for the same results!! Oh....and yesterday while at the farmer's market, I picked up some buffalo jerky!!

Have a great week!

BIG chicken, Meg, that's the trick to it!
(and if The Kids show up on the weekend, make it two chickens... ;) )

Seriously, though, I've been trying to follow <a href="http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/food-guide-aliment/choose-choix/index_e.html" rel="nofollow">Canada's Food Guide</a> a little more rigorously than in the past.

More of the fruit and vegetables / less of the 'super-sized' portions of meat-and-hot-carbs... you know, picking out the vegetable dishes and build the meal from there instead of the other way around...

Easy enough in the Autumn, when the garden produce is coming in faster than I can cook it up!
