Beach Theme Wedding Favors

by domestika on February 9, 2007

The new selection of beach-theme wedding favors at Hanson Ellis brings to mind Stacy’s Wedding Tactics — surf, sun, and low square vases of flowers in pink, white, and (real?) sand — nice!

personalized seashells wedding favors

Complete your beach theme wedding with our personalized natural sea shell favor. It makes a unique and memorable keepsake for your guests to cherish your event.

$1.79 each, with a minimum order of 12 shells.

Fresh gift ideas for guests and/or bride’s attendants are fun and more light-hearted than ever before, it seems, and here’s another one that I particularly liked for tabletop favors at the reception:

The new Soap On a Beach favor bags are on special now for $3.95, and you can add a personalized favor tag for 40 cents a piece.

Each jute bag is filled with real miniature seashells and a refreshing mint soap. The bag is then decorated with a polka ribbon in the color your choice (pink, sage green, and baby blue) and accented with a starfish.

By the way, word is that Stacy’s getting flooded with emails to advertise things like pink monogrammed flasks for gifts for her attendants… The email ads may be a bit annoying, but actually, a flask is not a bad idea (if your bridesmaids are not teetotallers, of course).

I was “best man” (yes, really) for an old pal on his wedding day about 5 years ago, and he gave me a personalized leather flask for dragging him to the altar, not losing the ring, and not embarrassing him too badly with my speech at the reception! A nice momento of the occasion. And I still use that flask regularly, especially out on my winter snowshoe hikes, to carry a little nip of something to warm the bones…
