Bizarre Chocolate Contest

Gather round, chocolate fans — Chocolate Bytes is holding a contest and the prize is the geek-chic theobromine molecule T-shirt.

Theobromine is (uh, of course) the active ingredient in chocolate, that gentle stimulant that relaxes and refreshes and makes the world go round… and the T-shirt is just plain fun.

So what do you have to do, for a chance to win?

Locate the most obscure and/or bizarre chocolate item you can find online, or link to the contest on your blog (or both) —and leave a comment over at Chocolate Byte’s place to place your entry.

I entered, you bet — went with the chocolate business cards, but on second thoughts I probably should have gone for the chocolate bubble-wrap or the glitzy little chocolate shoes I wrote about a while back.

No, you know what? I can’t even tell you what I really should have chosen to enter as my pick for a bizarre chocolate item, because my silver-haired old mother might read this, and I’m still trying to convince her that she managed, against all odds, to raise A Lady here…

Now, I’m no prude… and heaven knows I’m a serious chocoholic… but, nope, if the Man of My Dreams were to swank into the boudoir dressed like a bon bon, I am perfectly sure that I’d just fall about pointing and laughing. Helpless, and not in a good way.

Pointing and laughing at any man’s treat basket — I’m just guessing here — is unlikely to enhance the romantic mood…

Boy, I sure hope I win that sweet little molecule T-shirt! It’ll take my mind off some of the things that people feel compelled to do with perfectly innocent chocolate…
