We hear so much about the power of “word of mouth”… Don’t you wonder, what would happen if many different voices spoke on the same issue, all together, all on the same day?
Blog Action Day:
just take a moment to imagine it…
On October 15th, bloggers around the web will unite to put a single important issue on everyone’s mind — the environment. Every blogger will post about the environment in their own way and relating to their own topic. Our aim is to get everyone talking towards a better future.
The key is, no one has to go outside their topic niche or comfort zone to write about the environment, because it touches every aspect of our lives…
The list of participants (45+ blogs more than 2200 7,100 at last count) who have already signed up to post green on October 15 include some of our favourite reads, in all subject areas, from North x East and FreelanceSwitch to YoungGoGetter and Brocante Home…
And of course, Domestik Goddess will be taking part in Blog Action Day, too — join us?

I have also registered my blog. In fact, I’m planning a month-long campaign on appreciating our environment, which will conclude on 15 Oct. We shall see how it goes..

Wow — just checked in at BLogActionDay.org and the count is up to 933 blogs participating now, with a combined RSS subscriber reach of 866,428 people — and still 57 days to go, lots of time for more bloggers to get on board!

Myam and delia, it’s great to see you spreading the good word! I intend to try to visit all of the blogs that have signed up for Blog Action Day, but it’s getting to be a big challenge — as of this morning, there are 2,638 participants!

Can you believe the count is up over 15,000 participating blogs? I was trying so hard to visit them all, at first, but the number of participants just skyrocketed in the last week!
