This whole question comes up because I’ve just stumbled across Celebrity Ducks, where everyone from the Blues Brothers to Pope John Paul II turns up as a rubber ducky — even the divine Betty Boop!

I was in Tampa last week and I saw those CelebriDucks at a gift boutique! They are so adorable - didn’t see the Pope duck but I did see the Elvis duck and that was just too cute. Ironically (or perhaps not) we had just had dinner at Stumps Supper Club and the house band was playing Elvis’ songs. I guess that should have been a sign for me to buy at least one Elvis Duck.
