There’s no doubt that December is here! When we looked out the window this morning, the entire world seemed to be white and sparkling with crystal frost and snow. Only a few hoof-prints of wandering deer broke the white expanse that is our front lawn.
The meadow garden, shown here, was even more stunning — a tapestry of blue-grey shadows and diamond snow.

There’s heavy rain in the forecast, so the beauty of this white landscape won’t last very long… but we know that the snow will soon return to stay and give us this kind of peaceful scenery to enjoy all winter. It’s one of the compensations for living in maritime Canada!
