Taking the old tradition of signing your name on a friend’s plaster cast to a whole new artistic level… and redefining the whole concept of decoupage?
One of many stunning pieces in the Gallery of Art, National Guild of Decoupeurs (that would be people who do decoupage — at the serious master craft level), is this decoupage-illustrated cast — still on the injured leg, of course, because who’s going to keep an old cast around afterwards?
You’d never want to toss this one out — it’s a genuine work of art!
But how on earth would you display this unusual piece of decoupage, when it’s original function had been fulfilled?
