This may be the most amazing lamp I’ve ever seen.

I don’t understand it, but I’d love to live with it, love it, stare into its light (and reflected light) through the long winter evenings, and try to read the messages in the tiny vintage boy and unicorn figures under the glass bell…

It’s called The Antidote and it’s by Amy Leonard of Design DNA.

Design DNA lamp close-up My second-favourite Amy Leonard lamp is called Lelia Wescott’s Broken Heart, but I’ll let you scamper over to Design DNA and have a look around for yourself.

Browsing in Amy’s blog feels a bit like rummaging in the world’s most delicious antique shop, surrounded by eccentric curios and obscure treasures. Wonderful fun!

Yessir ma’am! No fight from me… but what about a trade? Say, The Antidote for one of everything you picked up in Cairo? Especially those blue glass bowls and vases. Um, and maybe one of those coin-covered bikinis? Okay, yes, I admit it. I just want to eat up your whole blog.

  2. Listen, I don’t want to have to fight you over that lamp. However, I did want to let you know that I train with the former Moroccan kickboxing champion – just in case you have some funny ideas…..:-)
