		<description>Hi silken, I have been using white flour but that&#039;s only because I&#039;m out of whole wheat at the moment. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Usually if a bread recipe calls for, say, 4 cups of white flour, I&#039;ve found you can safely make up to 1 cup of that whole wheat instead. (Whole wheat flour has less gluten or something than white flour, so it radically changes the texture if you try to sub in too much.) &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;My mother has been using this recipe too, the past week or so, and she throws in some wheat germ along with the other healthy-type stuff.</description>
