Wastepaper & Scraps of Fabric Not Only Make for Colorful Accessories but Also Help the Poor, Thanks to the Newly Launched Eco Design Lab Where You Get to Vote on the Designs that Get Produced.
Ever since Fashiontribes.com blogged this goodie back in May, I’ve been lurking around the informal network of Eco Design sites and scoping the designs, grabbing a gift here and there, and — to be truthful — a little DIY craft inspiration at the same time.
Check out the Creative Jewels at DiscoveredIn along with other fashion with a social conscience…
Of the several products launched to date, I’m especially loving these LadyMissFooFoo sandals that bring the jewelry aesthetic to a new level of coolness in footwear. And a percentage of each sale goes to support Eco Design Lab projects.
Look great; feel useful to the less fortunate.
It doesn’t get better than that!
