@polly peirce, what a shame – they sell in UK but not in Ireland?

But maybe there’s a way around it… I mean, they supply Gloves in a Bottle in China, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Portugal, Germany, UK, USA and Canada etc. etc. – it’s just very silly that gardeners in Ireland can’t be supplied!

I’ve been using this stuff ever since I wrote about it here, last July, and am still as keen on it as I was to start with.
Truly, it would be worth your time to send an email to the company to find out how you can get hold of the lotion in Ireland – your mum would love it.

I think I might just have found the product my Mum’s been in need of for months now.

Unfortunately when I had a look on the website they only supply to the UK. I’m going to keep on looking though….

This product might be worth a look too – [link] . It’s a shielding lotion which uses some new skin care technology (whatever that means!) to moisturize 6 times more effectively than the standard glycerin based moisturizers. As a shielding lotion it keeps the chemical irritants out too. It looks pretty good.

I use Gloves in a Bottle all the time – I’m an artist and end up washing my hands a zillion times a day (slight exaggeration). Gloves in a Bottle makes it easier to keep my hands clean plus seems to save them from drying up and cracking despite the paint, oil and thinners I get all over them. I also use it whenever I’m cleaning the house (not so often!), gardening or doing any DIY and find it fantastic at shielding my hands from any chemicals and dirt. Great stuff – I get it from the [link] website – excellent service too.

Hi JoLynn, it really is great stuff in my opinion.

I got this bottle sent to me as a press sample, but I know they will throw in free samples when you place an order, maybe other circumstances… who knows? Check out the order form for info –

You might also check the G-in-a-B website for retail outlets – you can put in your zip code to find a local store that carries Gloves in a Bottle, and stores often have samples and testers.
