I Heart the Cat Fairy Artist

Tascha’s 2007 paintings At the very heart of grey downtown Toronto, there’s a special bright sparkling place where Spanish colours riot and fairies cavort with doorstop-solid cats.

Feeling a bit down and grey, yourself?

There’s nothing I can think of to bring on the sunshine like spending some time with Tascha

Siamese Cat Fairy

I’m not going to waste your time in gushing on about the artwork, for once, but send you over to tascha.etsy.com to check it out. These paintings sing out for themselves, and you’ll either love them as much as I do or … just wander about Etsy until you find your own favourite art and crafts!

But I’d heartily recommend sliding by YouTube to catch Tascha’s art videos if you’ve got time to spare and a creative spark you’d like to inspire: she’ll show you in fabulous fast motion, step by step, how she creates her paintings with acrylic paint, bits of paper, canvas or wood, and a whole lot of joy!

I love Tascha too, she is so talented and sweet. She commented on my videos when I was a newbie and gave me encouragement. I wish I could meet her.

@Lina, we can all use more fun, can’t we? Thanks so much for stopping by. :)

@Pinhole – you know I’m not even trying it, man!

@Di, I love the “silly little works of art” tagline on your own blog – so glad you left a comments so I could discover your artwork, too!

@Dinah, for those of us who aspire, isn’t it great that Tascha makes those helpful how-I-do-it videos? :)

@Claudia – No argument, fairies rule. I believe you live with one, too…

@Adriana, love those iconic little pendants you’re showing now – I’m going to have to make some time to track down your videos, too!
