IKEA for Cats

by domestika on August 25, 2007

BASTIS IKEA mouse cushion cat bed I had no idea that IKEA had such a sense of humour — was there ever a more amusing cat bed than this cartoon-style stuffed knocked-out mouse?

I can just see the big fat old Moggy perched on top of the Bastis pet cushion, purring up a storm, and looking like the proverbial cat who ate the cream!

We got the flat dog version of that pillow last year - plus key hooks that look like dog butts. Hilarious! I always enjoy going there.

@Jeri, I’ve been trying to resist those incredibly funny little dog butt wall hooks — and you’re not helping a bit!

@Lavendar, I hear you. Never was much of an IKEA fan but they’re really starting to put out some interesting stuff these days.

@Pinhole, I’ll be sure to let Santa Claus know… ;)

Have you seen this year’s “pet bed” at Ikea. . . .

Wow, that’s some gorgeous piece of furniture, Joey!

For cats, is it, I hope? ‘Cuz I’d hate to see he price tag on a version that would fit my big male greyhound… ;)

That is just way too cute. I will have to get one of these for my cat. Who’d have thunk it?

I know, Cait, I know! Almost enough to make me get another cat… if it weren’t for dogs who think cats are just fast-moving squeaky toys!
