License Plate Journal

by Domestik Goddess on August 30, 2007

Lots of lovely eco goods can be found at The Green Apple, but this clever recycled journal book caught my eye as an especially fresh and practical idea.

Old Australian license plates are recycled into the book covers — and if you’ve ever backed your car into a low curb, you may recall that license plate metal is easy enough to bend!

The closing tab is made from recycled truck tyre inner tubes, the bookmark is made from beer packaging, and the paper inside is also recycled, of course.

I’m thinking, travel diary?
