Little Boxes of Inspiration

recycled citrus rind boxes by Elena and Alexander DeutschOn a quest for home decorating inspiration for the change of season, I’ve been browsing “Re-f-use,” an online exhibit from the Delft University of Technology that showcases some fabulous feats of recycling and sustainable product design. I’m especially excited by the elegant little boxes or bowls made from the peels of lemon, orange, and grapefruit by Elena and Alexander Deutsch. Imagine a group of these on a sideboard or sofa table, holding a summer holiday’s collection of seashells, for example. Nice!
