Roll-Your-Own Paper Bead Art

For a quick, cheap craft to keep kids busy or to save your butt when you’ve forgotten to get a birthday card… look no further than the old Victorian art of paper beads.

Odds are that you already have the supplies on hand — all you need is paper (magazine pages work well), scissors, and glue — and Curbly has the paper beads how-to, along with some crafty ideas of how to use your paper beads for wall art or greeting cards. I think a little paper-bead mosaic would really jazz up an inexpensive photo frame, too.
