The divine Di Overton flashed this Shark and Dolphin Chair over at design block this morning, just when my eyes had managed to forget that I’d ever seen a piece of furniture upholstered in various stuffed toys… so of course I had to trot over to ArtNet and see what else is listed for works by Brazil’s Campana Brothers.
How about the one-of-a-kind Kaiman Rosso crocodile-embossed sofa?
I’m fascinated… perhaps because it reminds me of a giant deep-red squid, sprung from the mind of an underground cartoonist and now sleeping peacfully in the corner of an art gallery, somewhere in Chicago…
O brave new world,
that hath such [creatures] in it!
