I unexpectedly had a day off and have wanted to bake pepperoni and cheese bread sticks. I didn't have any yeast, and the comments seemed positive. Definitely a yummy and fast and easy way to make bread! I had to turn the heat down a bit so the bottom didn't burn and the inside wasn't too doughy.

Thanks for the recipe, I'll definitely be using this one all the time. :D

Well, this is embarrassing...I finally realized that the reason these didn't turn out for me is because I was using powdered sugar instead of flour! I guess from now on I'll actually read the labels on my canisters XD Looking forward to trying this recipe with the right ingredients!

Just tried making these...it did not go well! I was very careful to follow the recipe exactly, but the dough was completely liquid. I added all the flour I had on hand and it was still pretty runny. Since it was in no way solid enough to form breadsticks, I decided to bake it in muffin cups, but this just resulted in a blackened gooey mess. I'm normally a good baker, so I wish I knew what went wrong here!

Thank you for this recipe!!! I wanted a quick biscquit or roll to make with dinner but didn't have any yeast on hand. This recipe was a hit! The kids loved that they were breadsticks. I used a little more butter than called for, added some garlic salt and sprinkled Parmesan cheese on top. I cooked them about two minutes longer so they crisped up just a little on the edges. So good! Also, this recipe didn't even take me 30 minutes to make. So quick and easy! 5 stars!!!

I started measuring out ingredients for bread dough into my bread maker when I realized I was all out of yeast, bummer! I didn't want to throw away the ingredients I had measured out so when I came across your recipe I just threw in some baking powder and set it off! I will let you know how it works out.

On second thoughts they won't last long enough to freeze! Delicious with thinly grated cheese on top! Thanks alot for a fab recipe.

Ps, with regards to the wet dough issue, all you have to do it add the milk a tsp at a time and work as you go, stop adding when the dough is smooth and elastic.

Thanks again
