Summer Iced Tea

by Domestik Goddess on July 27, 2006

When the weather is really hot and sticky, it seems there’s nothing more refreshing than cold iced tea.

4 cups freshly brewed tea
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup lemon juice
lemon slices for garnish

Combine all ingredients in a glass or ceramic jug and chill well. Serve in tall chilled glasses, garnished with lemon slices.

When you make ice tea with with honey, the way our beekeeper friends do, it doesn’t have that weird aftertaste you can sometimes get if you use refined white sugar to make a chilled beverage.
