by Domestik Goddess on November 23, 2006

What if your potted plants could take care of themselves while you’re off on vacation? Guess what, they can! With the help of hand-blown European art-glass watering bulbs

blown glass watering bulb for plantsWater the plant normally and then fill the watering bulb with water, poke a hole in the soil with a pencil, and insert the stem into the hole. As the soil dries it will draw the water from the bulb for up to 7 days, depending on the plant.

Measures approximately 3″ x 13″ and holds about 13 oz of water. Colors and sizes will vary slightly due to hand blowing.

There you have it.

Now you can leave your philodenron at home alone, and jaunt off to Mojito Heaven with a light heart and clear conscience!

Beautiful convenience from LeeValley.com, priced under $10.
