What to Give a Pre-Teen Girl

by Domestik Goddess on May 18, 2007

Pre-teen girls! One minute they’re little girls, playing with dolls and stuffies. Turn around the next minute, they’re putting on perfume and swooning over a pop star…

Things to Do - for Girls Wondering how on earth to choose a gift to charm the pre-teen girl in your life?

Alana can help!

She’s the 10-year-old girl behind Alana Designs at www.alanadesigns.com.au.

Alana’s Mum tells me that Alana decided what she wanted to sell and “off she went”! She even describes to the jewellery crafters what she wants and they make it up for her, so she not only sells the styles that a young girl wants — she designs the bits of bling, too!

I have always wanted to have a go at business so I decided to start this site. I want to carry the things that girls from about 6 – 12 would love to have. I want them to be able to decorate their own spaces so they can show who they are.

Following Alana’s tastes for her age group, you can’t go wrong with the Things To Do category, too. There you’ll find Alana’s choice of fun and affordable craft kits and idea books — sure to inspire any groovy girl to express herself with creative projects or an “awesome bedroom makeover.”

This is a brand new website, so Alana’s still rounding out her offerings … I can’t wait to see what she’s going to add to her stock next!
