September 2007 calendar Finally, a day of idleness and sloth!

According to the 4-Week Walk for Weight Loss plan, today is a rest day.

And I’ve earned it, baby — lost nearly 3 pounds this week, three whole big wobbly pounds of fat that’s out-stayed its welcome!

And now, it’s a rest day.

Oh, yes, if a person wanted to get all ambitious… yes, a little yoga, a little family stroll after dinner, these gentle exercises are permitted — encouraged, even — but not required. The trick, for me, is not to substitute those fat-adding “arm stretches” instead. You know what I mean? That repetitious routine to avoid… hand to fridge door, hand to mouth…
