I like to make homemade dog treats for gifts, as well as to sell at bazaars and pet fairs, so I’m always on the look-out for unusual small cookie cutters in a dog theme.

dachshund cookie cutterWho doesn’t love a “weiner dog”? And this little dachshund cookie cutter (aff) is priced at only $1!

The same company that has the dachshund cookie cutters offers other dog breed shapes, too: Labrador Retriever, Collie, Schnauzer, Poodle, Terrier — maybe others that I didn’t see — as well as cookie cutters in the shapes of bones, fire hydrants, dog houses, and even little paw-prints.

Besides making dog cookies (see my favourite dog treat recipe), these would be great for making cookies for dog-loving kids, too. Especially ig you’ve got a preschool child who insists on one of those strangely popular puppy-themed birthday parties!

Hi. Thanks for visiting my site (www.thriftydecorating.com.)I love yours and visit often!

I got the angel painting I show in my post at the Longo Gallery in Beaufort, S.C. It’s really even prettier in person–painted on a piece of old tin.

Thanks again for visiting. I’ll be back soon!

Thanks for dropping by to satisfy my curiosity, LC!
For anyone wondering what the heck we’re talking about here… LC did up a cosy little space for herself and her daughter, and one of the art pieces she used was a funky angel painting.
