Look what I just found at J & O Fabrics! — and at $8.49 per yard for 45 inches wide, this “Domestic Goddess” pattern is a pretty reasonable price for a vintage novelty fabric, too.
Retro Domestic Goddess, really — how can I resist?
This particular material probably hasn’t got enough weight to it for upholstering the windowseat in the sun room off the kitchen, but wouldn’t that be fab?
But maybe I’ll just settle for a pair of cafe curtains, a retro frilly apron, and a matching tea cosy…
Or get Buck Handyman to knock together a couple of wooden frames about 5 feet high and hinge them together, then stretch a length of fabric top-to-bottom for a totally unique dressing/room screen…
The possibilities, as they say, are endless!
That is a great fabric! I love the woman with the cookbook.
